Ontario Statutes and Regulations

Here you will find current, consolidated Statutes and Regulations.  The acts and regulations are usually updated within 14 days of a change in the law.

Ontario Bills

If you need to consult the text of a bill before it becomes law, or want to see the unconsolidated version of a particular piece of legislation, this is the place to look.  You can go as far back as the 1st session of the 37th legislature, which began April 2001.

Ontario Gazette

Here you can view the issues of the Ontario Gazette exactly as they appear in print.  The archive goes back to the beginning of January 2000.  Use it to obtain the text of a regulation in its unconsolidated form, or to check for a notice that appeared in the Gazette.

Federal Statutes and Regulations

This site comes to you from the Department of Justice and it has the full text of bills from both the Statutes and Regulations.  You can search by the name of the Act, or do a word search.  Just be careful to note the currency when you find the Act you want.  The site is sometimes up to 3 months out of date.

Federal Bills

The Parliamentary website has the full text of bills from both the Senate and the House as well as links to Hansard.  The bills area is available as far back as the 1st session of the 36th Parliament (September 1997).  Bills are generally available within a couple of days of being introduced in Parliament.
